O2 Investment Partners Announces Appointment of Sam Wegenke

Luke Plumpton, Partner, announced the addition, “on behalf of O2, we are pleased to have Sam join the team and believe his relevant transaction experience and skill set will be an asset to the firm as we continue to scale our portfolio and explore new opportunities.”

Sam will be responsible for evaluating new transactions, due diligence, underwriting, and working in partnership with O2’s portfolio company management teams.

Prior to joining O2, Sam was as an Investment Banking Analyst at Houlihan Lokey. At Houlihan, a middle market investment bank, Sam was an analyst in the firm’s Corporate Finance group where he provided sell-side mergers and acquisitions advice to Industrial and Specialty Distribution clients. Before joining Houlihan, Sam was an Investment Banking Analyst at The McLean Group, a middle market investment bank, where he advised clients on buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions. Sam received his BA in Finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and his master’s degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
