Tim is the Chief Tax Officer at O2 Investment Partners. Tim coordinates and oversees all of O2’s tax planning, strategy, and compliance. Tim also works closely with O2’s portfolio companies on various tax and operational matters.

Prior to joining O2, Tim served as in-house tax counsel for a fortune 500 company, a director of M&A tax at a Big Four accounting firm, and a senior manager in a National Tax Office at large regional public accounting firm. During his time in public accounting, Tim advised clients on numerous transactions and divestitures, and assisted clients with corporate restructurings, tax planning, and tax controversy matters.

Tim received a JD from Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law, an MA in accounting from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and a BA in economics, political science, and classical studies from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Tim is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and a registered CPA in Michigan.
